Coaching is a process in which I create a safe space for you to

identify blocks that are holding you back and

"Mindfulness" and "Meditation" are two buzz words that have infiltrated every corner of our lives. What do they mean to you though?
Mindfulness is way of living life. It describes a focused, but relaxed attention on what you are doing or being at the moment, without judgement.
Have you ever,
✓ read the same page over and over again but just couldn't move on because something on your mind is holding back?
✓ tried meditation but are convinced that it will never be right for you just because you can't focus?
✓ act in a way that you feel bad later on but could not help but repeat the same pattern?
That is where mindfulness comes in.
Think of it as a gentle beam of light that allows awareness, acceptance and clarity to enter into every situation of your life,
or much needed soothing rain on a scotching hot day in the desert.
It allows you to understand yourself and every situation better, feel better, and to make decisions and move forward with ease and joy.

A 4-6 week live course that guides you from experiencing mindfulness meditation, creating your own simple practice to learning the basic concepts of mindfulness teachings.
It also offers an opportunity to join a community of beginning practitioners for support.

There are many definitions of "coaching".
In my work, coaching is where a coach creates a safe, non-judgemental and compassionate space, while being fully present in working with you, acting as your thinking partner to any issue that you bring to the session.
Sometimes, it is about me holding space for you to have a much needed conversation with yourself that you are hesitant or reluctant to have with yourself.
"What is coaching?"
*International Coaching Federation defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.
Coaching, by comparison to therapy, is future and action oriented. It allows you to go from functional to optimal.
It focuses on bringing your best self forward.
It helps define the aligned path for you by identifying and motivating you to take meaningful actions that will move you forward, instead of dwelling on the past.
"How is coaching different from therapy?"
Every session is different. My coaching style adapts to each client's unique needs and what works for them.
However, most sessions include identifying the goals, unearth unique and often unconscious dynamics behind our actions and reactions, get to the root of unhelpful patterns that hold us back, and co-creating an impactful outcome, action plan, exercise or mindset shift that is sustainable.
"What does a typical session look like?"
In our co-creation relationship, in order to create the biggest impact for you, you are expected to
- commit to show up on time and be present;
- do the work and take responsibility for the outcome of the coaching; and
- be kind and compassionate to yourself while committed to grow and create changes.
